ICE CUBE easliy..

i know he was upfront and it would be the most obvious to choose,
Cube was the lyricist for the Group and his whole flow was ATTITUDE in it, he always sounded angry.. wink

Eazy, Ren and Dre sucked. Cube kept that group afloat. They were big after he left, but only because of their image. Eazy E was one of the worst rappers of all time. Especially since Cube wrote his lyrics.

I don't think anybody is going to NOT say Cube, myself included. He wrote most if not all of the lyrics, had the best flow (one of my favorite lines: "when I got a sawed-off, bodies are hauled off... his delivery just kills with this line). Eazy may have had the voice, and Ren was alright, but for my money, it's Cube all day. And his solo lps proved it too. Look at efil4zaggin, NWA's album after Cube left, the group became a more violent 2 live crew, and lost all the spark that made them so listenable. Sure, Dre's production skills were dramatically improving, but the lyrics suffered. I still can't listen to that album, and Automobile is just retarded. Even the 100 Miles and Runnin EP was just "ok". So yea, I'm ramblin on but can ya blame me? ICE CUBE 4 Ever. Can't wait for his new album. although his early stuff is the best.
Keep your headphones on.

Ever heard of Ice-T?? Oh wait you're 20 years old, you obviously haven't got a clue about anything when they were "big"...
Anyway Ice Cube was the coolest and most talented member...
Eazy E. was the nicest and most down-to-earth of 'em all, even though he sounded like a frog on acid...
MC Ren was cool...
Dr. Dre was, and actually still is, a fucking no talent bastard...
Yella did nothing of significance (I hear he's doing porn nowadays...)
N.W.A. was cool...

Yes, this is what I was thinking. He had the best lyrics, clever raps, and the most convincing attitude.

damn right it didn't. in the blaxploitation films in the 70's they used the word "nigga" in the movies, back and forth, just like they do now, but all of a sudden its my generation supposedly "glorifying" it, when its been glorified during the time my parents were getting down in the clubs back in the day.

In fact if you want to go back into history, SOME of the blacks who were lucky enough to receive an education when it was a crime for blacks to get one, were calling the blacks who didn't have an education or most blacks who in most cases were "southerners", whom they felt were an embarrassment to the race because of their lack of so-called book sense were often criticized by the educated ones as being "too country" and acting like "niggas".

Ice cube hands down, easy e second, he was like the axl rose of hip hop back then. As for Xavier, you can blame all of societies ills on hip hop all you want. N.W.A did break down doors and barriers as far as freedom of speech is concerened. Plus if you didnt come from their enviornment (South Central LA ' Compton,) you wouldnt understand why they said what they said. Johnny Cash said he shot a man in Reno just to watch him die, does that make him a gangsta cowboy?

Since you don't have a clue about "Gangsta Rap" from those days (freedom of speech) your ramblings are quite pointless, it's easy to put the blame on something you're clueless about isn't it...
I bet you think Richard Pryor is a retard too eh?
If you actually took the time and listened to their social commentaries you'd understand where they were coming from and their use of the word "Nigga"...
And well comparing NWA to Hitler is quite retarded...
