I dropped $140 on eBay yesterday for Dead Can Dance's Toronto date. I didn't feel too bad about splurging because I'll be getting a refund on my tix to see Suzanne Vega. (She had to cancel a Cleveland date for this past weekend; the second time in three years.) Anyway, I'd long since resolved I'd sell (other people's) babies, if necessary, to see one of DCD's reunion shows. ...God will forgive us. [Edited 8/15/05 11:01am] God digs art, right? And art is more important than money, right?

I'd have loved to meet ya! I actually bought a pair of tix for the Chicago show, but then discovered I couldn't make the date. I whined, begged and flirted a refund out of a local Ticketmaster clerk (next to impossible), and I used the money to pay for the Toronto show tix. Ὅσον ζῇς φαίνου
