hope he performs better than he did in glasgow this year....his concert sucked big time imho

i hear he's hit or miss...hopefully he'll hit when i see him. i read a review that said he does an acoustic set while his band sits in the background and chills, then they eventually start joining in and playing with him until it's a full band set-up again. i'd love to see that.

yeah, once is enough for me, even if it's a bad show. i just wanna be able to say that i saw him, and enjoy the experience, however it turns out. if he's great, then i'll wanna see him again. if he's not, then he's one more show marked off my "must see" list.

oh, geez...having good seats at bowie and prince (done and done), laurie anderson (done twice), diamanda galas (done several times), deee-lite (done), the pixies (done twice), saint etienne (done twice), stereolab (done), beck (gonna be done), bjork (still waiting), the cure (done twice), sonic youth (done, but would happily do again)...i suppose if bauhaus did another reunion tour i'd be into seeing them, especially if they also did solo love & rockets/peter murphy stuff...

Lucky bitch!

I keep thinking I have most of my must-see artists checked off too, but then someone comes along and I have to reconsider.

I really wanna see Willie Nelson on this tour.

i woulda liked to have seen johnny cash, but, well, that's kind of an expensive ticket these days. sad

I saw Johnny Cash when I was 7 years old, but I slept through half of it.

For me, it was the Madonna Reinvention tour. 150 bucks through ticketmaster at the far end of the lower level. But I had some of the best tickets in that price range. lol

I'm feeling a fair amount of compunction about letting Laurie Anderson slip by last year. confused I hope she comes back. err

When Bowie was in Germany in 2003, I went and bought two tickets. Then went and bought magazine. To get my money out, I put the tix on a small cupboard in front of the cash register. Back home, I was like doh! ...Forgot them there. Drove back, somebody stole them (yeah, I know I forgot them but still somebody stole them!). Bought two again.

Too bad you didn't remember where your seats were so you could've found them and whooped their asses!

I sure would have! But I had Floor Tix, no seats.

Anx, don't worry. We all play the game when we have to...

I dropped $140 on eBay yesterday for Dead Can Dance's Toronto date. I didn't feel too bad about splurging because I'll be getting a refund on my tix to see Suzanne Vega. (She had to cancel a Cleveland date for this past weekend; the second time in three years.) Anyway, I'd long since resolved I'd sell (other people's) babies, if necessary, to see one of DCD's reunion shows.

...God will forgive us.

Bauhaus are playing two dates in NYC in November and one date in Seattle in October. I don't know if a full tour itinerary has been announced yet. I bought a ticket last week to one of the NYC shows. It's general admission so getting up close shouldn't be too hard. This will be my third time after seeing them twice back in 1998.

I guess I better get some Tori tickets soon or live to regret it. It's a toss-up between paying money now or harboring regrets.
