P-Funk Questions, experts plz!

Westbound Records has recently re-released all of Funkadelic's albums up to 1976 ("Tales Of Kidd Funkadelic").

Mercury/Universal also re-released Parliament's early albums up to 1975 ("Mothership Connection").

My questions are:

1. Does anyone know if Westbound will be re-releasing Funkadelic's post-1976 albums, or were the originals never released on Westbound (and if so, which record company released the originals, and will they be re-releasing them?)

2. Will Mercury/Universal be re-releasing Parliament's post-1975 albums?

I want to buy albums like Uncle Jam Wants You and Motor-Booty Affair, but I don't wanna buy them if they're going to be re-released soon (as I'd rather have the re-releases)!

Cheers,

Ecnirpnz

I can only speak about Mercury/Universal re-releasing their post 1975 albums. I sure hope they do remaster and reissue them because I recently brought Funkentelechy and the sound is pretty so-so. I hope if they reissue their post 1975 albums, there will be better bonus tracks. Universal really needs to add Mothership Connection, Funkentelechy, and Motor Booty Affair into their Deluxe Edition series with rare stuff. I'm so disappointed that Trombipulation is out of print, even though lots of hardcore P-Funk fans consider it their worst.
