Summer of Sam is a GREAT soundtrack - I still rock that one fairly regularly. Great blend of disco and '70s a.m. radio lite rock. Lotsa fun. nod

i will admit, the stage version holds a special place in my heart because i had it for a spell before the movie came out. but i still like 'em both!

i don't like the "extra" songs on the film version, but i do like the production of the original songs a lot more than the stage version...sometimes, anyway.

memories mar my mind
love it is a fate resigned

Over futile odds
and laughed at by the Gods
and now the final frame
Love is a losing game
