Hey fanboy, your idol sucks on guitar. That solo he did at the awards show last year was shameful. Coming onstage in a national forum presenting yourself as a nationally known, no INTERNATIONALLY KNOWN artist and playing like a junior high school guitar student should be embarrassing.
[Edited 8/8/05 22:16pm]

It was almost unbearable to watch that's for damn sure lol

I like Andre 3000, but if you're gonna hit the stage, do it right or not at all. That's the problem with the music generation of now; suckas can't play worth a damn and them try to rationalize themselvs into greatness. "What is good playing anyway?" and shit like that. Well, it ain't Andre. On the flipside, he's pretty damn tight with that MPC3000.
[Edited 8/8/05 22:16pm]

What you upset for?

What are you judging his playing on?

He held it togeher on TLB, and seemed very nervous on the awards show, and so you are putting his playing down becasue of one show?

What a simp idea.

Dud was nervous as all out doors in that performance. It was his first time. Do you remember your first time playing on national TV? I doubt you do.

There is not a problem with music from this generation, the problem with this generation is Clear Channel. Don't be a simp and shit on an entire generation with such prudish objections.

Man, Blaque, I couldn't agree withcha more. Dig, I think Andre is cool as well, but, a big part of being a true musician is putting in the time. Woodshedding. Please don't take your ass out on a stage and try to pull off some shit u were practising while looking at yourself in the mirror. "Do I look cool, dog?" Be more concerned with how u sound, and if u can play or not. Got to put in the time before u can shine!

What does Clear Channel have to do with teh fact that 'Dre needs to take his ass back to the practice room some more before stepping out with a guitar strapped on?

BK like you said earlier, too many times, people are given way too much credit just for trying and this is the problem. If Dre was in a rock band, he'd get laughed off the stage playing the way he did. I dig OutKast, TLB, and Dre's stuff, but let's call it what it is shall we? And it's even harder to sound good on sax than it is on guitar.....you have to practice longer just to get a good sound.
