The new Ryan Adams LP "September" - I really liked Cold Roses, and this ones meant to be just as good. Ryan is in my opinion one of the most consistent artists out their, as well as one of the most prolific.

The new Paul McCartney album "Chaos & Creation in the Backyard" - I always check out his new albums as there's always something worthy on there. I personally think his last 2 records were some of his most consistent yet.

The new Madonna album. Of course. I like the idea of her going back to all dance. Like the first album.

The new Prince album. Purely speculative this one, but im convinced he's going to release something before the end of the year. Probably blind optimism i know, but i always get excited about his releases.

I cant really think of many others. Anyone know what new albums are coming out. I think there is a new Franz Ferdinand due out before the end of the year, but my mind stops there.

You now. I'm looking forward to exactly the same ones!

Especially Ryan Adams' "September".

"Cold Roses" is indeed a superbly beautiful album once
more. I love all his released and unreleased stuff.

His "Suicide Notebook" unreleased album is a killer!!!

Not really an upcoming release, is it? Personally, I wait for confirmed dates before I start anticipating. I mean, many artists are set to release a new album sometime in the future lol All Janet's let us know is sometime in first-quarter '06.

I listened to the "Oh La La" promo album just now. It's only remixes to it though, but they were still pretty good. I'm really lovin' the single and those samples were good too. Can't wait for the album.

they really need to go ahead and release Fiona Apple's album too, even though most fans already have it by now. Just release it for the sake of it, because it's not that bad of an album. Not her best album imo, but still it shouldn't be locked away forever. It's past due.....like 2yrs. past due.

2-Disc Set. September 6 and This is wishful thinking, Funkadelic The "C" Conspiracy in the last Days of the Time Zone. Only reason it may happen is George has a new distribution deal and his own label (Again). cool

From Liz Smith's column in NY Post:
WHO are the happiest music executives in the land these days? The big guys at Warner Bros. All who have heard Madonna's upcoming CD 'Confessions On A Dancefloor' have been blown away.(Including WR's movie-star handsome CEO Tom Whalley).'Confessions' is entirely a dance-driven pop disc.No messages. No ballads. All fun. These days M seems serene as the chatelaine of an English manor, feeding the chickens, riding, tending to her children, etc.(She,her home and her kids are gorgeous in the August issue of Vogue).

But the once-shocking icon can still get into the groove. And she wants her fans to know it.The album hits stores in November.

Indeed it is. I consider it the true follow up to heartbreaker, even though its unreleased. True beauty in song. Have you ever hear 48Hours. That album is an absolute killer. Its Ryan in country / pop mode, but in a way I'd have preferred him to release this, and the other two session albums, instead of Demolition (which was the "best" of the 3). Thankfully it looks like his record company have reecognised this allowing him to release three this year.

I was due to go see Ryan in July, but he had an ear infection or something so he cancelled the whole UK tour. sad . Still ive seen him 3 times already, i can wait for the 4th.
