Last month, 3 Black men were walking in the area at 3AM. They got into some kind of argument with 3 White teenagers, which ended up with one of the Blacks getting beaten by a bat. Turned out that the other 2 Black guys admitted they were in the neighborhood specifically to steal a car ! One of the White guys said he believed they wanted to snatch his gold chain. About a week later, one of the Black guys was arrested for mugging a man on the subway at gunpoint (and stealing his chain). Of course, Reverand Al is up in arms about this incident..
Ironically, and sadly, about a week later in Brooklyn, a 15 year old Black honor student was mugged by a pack of other Black kids, and stabbed to death for his Ipod. There were no words of outrage from Revereand Al Sharpton or any of the other so-called leaders about this tragic incident. I guess their outrage is reserved for "racially tinged" incidents only ...
