T.Rex "Born to Boogie" DVD

I just watched this DVD after getting it from Netflix over the weekend (disc 1, anyway) and it was a very cool little nugget from the past. Seeing live performance footage of Marc Bolan was cool enough, but seeing scenes of T.Rex performing classics like "Children of the Revolution" with Elton John and Ringo Starr sitting in was pretty freakin' amazing (Ringo also directed and produced the film).

For the most part it's a lot of disjointed silliness (a la "Magical Mystery Tour") but there's lots of great live footage, and the silliness is pure gold for Bolan fans.

Anyone else check this out?

Yaeh, I have it. Remember, I'm the cat that wrote a thread about "Children of the Revolution"! I actually went to see the premire of the film in Hollywood about a month ago. His son, Rolan Bolan was there, speaking about his dad.

So needless to say, I will be getting this soon. woot!

Oh, and on a side note, you can see the famous "Children of the Revolution" footage, along w/ "20th Century Boy" I believe from TOTP, if you ever watch the British version of VH1 Classic. nod

U remember babygirl, I was telling u about the premire before it happened. I was saying that I wish u were here (So Cali) and that I could take u with me and I could introduce u to Rolan, Marc's son.
