why are ya'll competing soo much with madonna/janet?? both two very different persons , who do very different things .

i both like 'em . i have a weakness for madonna cuz she done so much incredible things in her life , from very biginning till now

sure janet made great music ,albums and did great tours , but comparing madonna's tours or janets ..... i mean come on ....one is much more theatre than the other
watch madonnas blond ambition tour and the girly show
can those b compared to a janet concert , or the other way around ??? dont think so .
and as a person , madonna is winning it (IN MY EYES) on most levels , just for being madonna , she done so much more things than janet . (wether u like what she done or not )
so business-wise .madonna is a winner
but who cares ?? they are both great persons , each in their own way .

? Alot of people on here like both artists alot. I c no harm in that.

I don't think any is better than the rest. They're just people that entertain my earholes from time to time.

Janet is the prototype for the female singer these days, black or white. I see more of a Janet influence on the Britneys, Ciaras, and Beyonces simply because she's a more talented "performer" (read: dancer).
