The last I heard, Eno's not going to be involved but all the original members will be. Can't wait to hear it. Any serious music lover should check them out - an absolutly amazing band that pushed all envelopes (musically, lyrically, stylistically). I can't imagine my music collection without them. Even though most people prefer their earlier stuff, their last album - 'Avalon' - is one of the most beautiful albums ever released. Absolute perfection. Funnily enough, I just heard Bryan's 'Slave To Love' on my lunch break. :Music:

Semi-related Roxy Music question (for the experts):
Bryan Ferry's song "Is Your Love Strong Enough?" (from Legend and later 3some) is one of my favorite songs EVER!!! I've always heard rumours that David Gilmour (of Pink Floyd) plays guitar on that track, though I've never been able to confirm it. Anyone got any info?

I love Roxy. They were a big influence on Chic. "Love Is The Drug" is the blueprint for what Chic ended up doing. Even Chic's first album cover looks like a Roxy album cover. "Virginia Plain" is one of the greatest songs ever. I favor Roxy when Brian Eno was in the band, but all of their 70's material is killing. SynthiaRose said "I'm in love with blackguitaristz. Especially when he talks about Hendrix."

Like yourself, I also love that track and it's always been one of my favorites b/c of the guitar arrangrement and sax solo. "Is Your Strong Enough?"

I'm absolutely certain that David Gilmour is in the video. I'd have to watch it again to be 100% but I'm sure he is.

And I'm POSITIVE he's on Bryan Ferry's solo album 'Boys & Girls' amongst about, I dunno, 400 other guitarists. Asked in interviews what he collects, Bryan usually responds "Guitarists". And he's worked with some of the best - Manzanera, Gilmour, Nile Rodgers, Johnny Marr, to name but a few. [Edited 7/21/05 4:50am]
