Eastcoast Vs Westcoast Vs Miami bass Yeah sure I ain't a big hiphop head, but I always lean to the g funk of the westcoast.
Eastcoast had:- Slick rick ll cool j Public enemy beastie boys young mc westcoast had some ice t nwa tupac ice cube et all miami bass had some- 2 live crew tag team quad city dj's 95 south college boyz (i think?) I should prefer eastcoast, as it is more safe and party like (ie fun is the main agenda here), but I cant front and say that the rap I still hear mainly comes from the westcoast. Which do u prefer generally? Miami bass is something I know vainandy likes. Me too. Gimme some full out booty shaking jams anyday. So, even though I have little miami bass, I will proberly prefer that.

I would go with Miami by FAR for groups like Pretty Tony and Freestyle, which led to Trinere. Also for Luke and The 2 Live Crew, 95 South, Quad City DJs, etc.
The west coast had great groups like The Egyptian Lover and The LA Dream Team, but they also had horrible, tired ass, midtempo gangsta rap, so the west coast definately loses more points for that. Andy is a four letter word.

Miami Bass. My aunts pretty much forced this on me growing up, I didn't mind though. "Scarred" and "Da Dip"..... I know it's goes deeper than that, but for me those two songs stand out the most.....memories. I probably couldn't tolerate over half of it now.
