There are scientists such as Einstein that take science to the level of art...and there are musicians that are simply mathematicians. Music theory, color theory and some mathematical theories are nearly the same and I'm sure that at some point they are. In the large scheme of things, I don't think we are all that smart. There seems to be a bigger picture where all these things connect. For now, it's creative thinking that allows us to intuitively tap in, in some small way.
