Quite the opposite. There are far more of these down low men that have just not been outed. They act overly masculine to hide the fact that they fool around. The average straight man, black or white, is not near as overly masculine and thuggish as the rapper types out there. Also, most straight men don't have a problem with gay men and feel the need to bash them.

Unless you frequent a black gay club on a regular basis or have fooled around yourself, there is no way possible for you to know what actually goes on out there as far as these men straddling the fence. Trade black men are going to try to turn it into a racial thing to get the heat off of them. There are far more out there than are outted and they keep it well hidden. The stupid gay men they fool with keep their secret also. If the gay men had any sense, they would be the ones outting them instead of the women catching these men. Gay men need to stand up and out these motherfuckers, if for nothing else, revenge for the way these men have treated them. They don't need to let the women do all the work for them. They need to be working with the women and out them themselves. Pride is far more important than going with the program just so they can get some dick.

Guys with that "strong masculine image" are usually the ones that are fooling around. Straight men are not that masculine. Straight men don't have anything to prove, down low men do.

Before hip hop took over, you used to could spot a down low man strictly by the way he was dressed. They were the very first men dressing the "thugged out" look. Now that hip hop has taken over, it's hard to tell the straight men from the down low men. Instead of gay men approaching other men like they used to do in the past, now they have to wait to be approached because it's hard to spot these down low motherfuckers out because everyone looks like them these days.

I don't blame anyone for living in a closet and I have much sympathy for them because every gay man and woman has been in the closet at one point or another. I do, however, have a problem with a motherfucker that is in a closet that shoots his mouth off against gay people, bad mouths them, bashes them, beats them, drags them, etc. If a man is in the closet...fine, he needs to keep his damned mouth shut. If he wants to start some shit with openly gay men, he best prepared to be outted his damn self because gays ain't playing that weak shit no more.

From what I have seen, many white men can admit it and black men can't. That's why they are on the "down low" while many of the white men are "openly bisexual".

For some reason, and I don't know why....black men and women have had a problem for ages owning up to certain sexual acts. I can remember in the 1980s, black men refused to admit that they ate pussy and black women also refused to admit that they sucked dick. White men and women back then, had no problem admitting this. It wasn't until the 1990s, that I saw black men and women admitting to such acts.

Race -- as most scientists agree -- is little more than a fairy tale. When it becomes a factor in discussions of human behavior -- more so than, say, economic levels and access to resources -- it becomes worse, mythology dressed up as revelation.

Men and women of all stripes have issues relating to each other, not the least of which romantically. When discussions of those varying relations get colored by race (pardon the pun), it never takes long for darker peoples to be vilified or dehumanized, all these centuries later.
