As much as I like both songs "Flashlight" get's my vote. Bernie Worrell Playing on this funk jam is nothing short of amazing.

My vote goes to Atomic Dog, cuz it is just phatter somehow.

I take into account what 12" versions are available and like Atomic Dog's better.

though because that beat.. that PUMPING, RELENTLESS, HARD-DRIVING FUNKY BEAT.. just makes your body want to do all kinds of funky & obscene gestures..

yeah, Flashlight is more funk than "the average person" can handle - thanks to that wizard Bernie on the synths & Catfish on rhythm guitar..

but ATOMIC DOG just funks TOO HARD.

It's a hard choice but I would go with "Atomic Dog" for the 12 Inch version. Once you hear that version, you'll never play the original version again.

The funk is a little mo funkier in Flashlight but the chants are better in Atomic Dog.

There is a 10 minute 12 Inch of "Flashlight" but it doesn't sound much different from the original. It's just longer.
