Can't reveal sources but someone who studies Prince, know people who knows him in Minneapolis told me that. Anyway, Prince do like her you know. He has respect for real artists and much as most of you people on here hate to hear or read but she is a real artist and fall into the same category as Prince, madonna, michael jackson, whitney houston(until she blow it on that stupid bobby brown show), and janet(until she blow it cause she still singing like she 20 yrs old).

Prince praises her voice-that's it. On The Tonight show in 2000 or 2001 was talkin' to Leno about how she had been swindled in her record deal.

U mean back when black music didn't count and was very underrated and no competition. I mean al the sorry beatles had to say i wanna hold your hands 50 times and be #1 and elvis had to say was why and shake his little ass and it go #1. Mariah was competing against stiff competition you know.

Wow, that has to be the most pathetic excuse by a fan ever. As if the 60's charts weren't competitive. HELLO, MOTOWN!!! 75% of everything they ever released charted. And that's just for starters.

And you've boiled down The Beatles genius legacy to 1 song and Elvis to a hip wiggle. OK, so then I boil Mariah down to a saggy-titted blond cow with a dolphin whistle. Fair trade.

According to Billboard Hot 100, Elvis never had more #1s than Mariah Carey, only the Beatles did!

Billboard currently counts tracks beginning with the start of the rock era (which they consider the chart beginning July 9, 1955). The Billboard Hot 100 was a name change. If you check ALL Billboard articles, it is Beatles with 20, Elvis with 17 and Mariah with 16.

75% of the records released by 1 label - Motown - managed to chart. And no, I'm not going to go through a history of their fucking number ones, number twos, number threes, number fours, etc. by chart for you. Buy the chart books for yourself. If you are deluded enough by Mariah fandom to believe there was no chart competition for The Beatles or Elvis in the 60's (and otherwise), I feel sorry for you. And do I really need to go into the matter of how Tommy Mottola, with aggressive promotion at radio and aggressive pricing tactics (99 cents for a maxi) was an INVALUABLE asset to many of Mariah's number ones?

just because prince gives a testimonial about or props to an artist does not mean that we automatically should give 'em any sorta credence.

I NEVER take anything that is "from a friend of a friend who knows" seriously. And more often than not, when someone says "I can't reveal my source" is because there is no way in hell to prove what they said is true or there is no real source.

I can come on here and say anything like I have a source that I cannot reveal but knows that Prince secretly got married to Madonna. Does it make it true just because I or anyone else here on the ORG says it?

"Let's Dance" kicked "Beat It" out of the #1 spot, NOT "Billie Jean". Wrong Michael Jackson song. Check your facts.

Seriously, what's the beef with Mariah? I usually skip over the Mariah threads. There's one about her size...is that the problem?
