Thank you, Moon. I can't thank you enough! Just put on the first song!

I am amazed to have the opportunity to hear that beautiful voice sing songs from an era I so love. Wow.

Okay, my first bunch of favourites are Monkey Monkey, Let's Just Close Our Eyes and Sweet Surprise 2. These three songs to me stand out when it comes to sound and lyrics. They just sparkle and I am just playing them again and again...

I had some fun too, as it turns out I used to own ABC Freeform and Lentils, (how could I otherwise remember them witty songs?) I laughed so loud cuz of ABC especially. Weird Annie & Dave.

LoL, just as bad as I am!

BTW, in between I found SOME of the b-sides and extended versions myself and it turns out I have a superior version of Invisible Hands....

Any takers?

Currently trying to locate the release that included Sweet Surprise 2...

Do I have to wade my way through http://www.dnafiles.net/dna/index.htm myself?

I love these songs! "Monkey Monkey" is one of the best, although obviously not for the lyrics. lol What all have you downloaded so far?

At least you sent me one package so far. More than I can say.

Nope, they are the same, one lacking 2 seconds of the other due to difference in vinyl/digital transfering.

And hey! You have been too pre-occupied for packaging. I bet you are hardly able to keep up your own stuff... kittykat here, dog pound there. Yards of unlistened-to-material if I know you a little...

Include severe insomnia, a mind overflowing with thought, emotion and music/lyrics and that describes....

ME! LoL
I was SO wired this morning again. I sent angry orgnotes defending Madonna (I mean JEEEEZ) and was pissed off (typed pisse doff there, hehehe) at a stupid cow that did not understand the function of a WHAT ARE YOU LISTENING TO thread. Sigh...

Maybe I do need a life. How about it? You got recording stuff, right? Let's make a record.

I am playing;

The Eurythmics

Monkey Monkey / Let's Close Our Eyes on repeat.

Yes I do have recording stuff. And I've just recently dug it all out and begun tinkering again. I listened to some of my old demos to see where I left off cuz it's been so long since I've put anything down. Feels good to be doing something with it again.

And OMG, the first time my friend heard "Monkey Monkey"...when those insane vocals come in and sing "Mun-kay...Munkayyyyyeeeeewwww", he was like, "Is that her!?" omg I'm still not sure.

lol

Hehehe, yer own special 'friend'? LoL

Anyways... my lyrics are back up again too... they just keep flowing the last few weeks. Slowly, but VERY surely. I am kind of cocooning to see if new lyrics can get firm ground underneath their feet.

Is this place for real or is this just fantasy?
Cuz when I went to sleep you weren’t here with me

And you're the total opposite of me. Lyrics are almost always the last thing to come when I'm writing a song.
