After seeing William Hung over-exposed.... (His back-up dancer girls are just as hot as the one Ricky Martin has/had...) I was wondering... what the hell happened to the Puerto Rican man. Wasn't there supposed to be a new release in English?

He's doing a lot of charity work recently for children.

He released an all spainish album last year or the year before. I don't think it did that hot but I also don't think much was expected.

Ricky Martin actually released an INCREDIBLE album in Spanish right before "crossing over". It's called Vuelve, and it's one of my all-time favorites. He collaborated with Robi Rosa, also a former Menudo boy, who is an accomplished producer/artist in his own right. If you understand Spanish...or just like the Latin "sound", it's worth a listening to.

Unfortunately, with the success of Vida Loca, Ricky was probably blinded by the dollar signs and he dumped Robi Rosa and went for the "Pop" crap. Even his recent Spanish one was a mediocre product.

If he teamed up with Robi again and steered clear of the "Pop" crap, he might be able to pull off a "comeback".

As for "worst music ever"?!?!?! That's a bit harsh, dont'cha think?

the same thing that happens to all people who work with the devil (aka madonna), his mojo was stolen by madge. i'm convinced of it...every time that woman works with someone the person in question always drops off the charts. she worked with prince and he slowly lost popularity. she started hanging out with mj and, poof, child abuse allegations damage his career. she works with ricky martin and then he's gone. she works with britney and the girl begins her decline (its especially odd with britney because her last record was the best of her career) and has numerous knee problems.

who else has madonna worked with that's fallen off the map. there must be some more i'm forgetting.

anyway, that's what happened to ricky martin. the devil swallowed him up.
