Z Cult Favorite - Do It Till You're Satisfied/B.T. Express

This was the bands first single and it went straight to the top of the charts in 74. Although this song is biting HARD off of The Temptations, I like this better than most of The Temptations late 60's stuff! Just a very cool, funk/rock jam, early 70's style.

"Come on and do it, do it, do it till you're satisfied.
Whatever it is." (I love that part)

Who else out there digs this song?
SynthiaRose said "I'm in love with blackguitaristz. Especially when he talks about Hendrix."
nammie "What BGZ says I believe. I have the biggest crush on him."

Actually, Kashif didn't the join the band,
until their 3rd or 4th album came out...

At that time, he was known as Micheal Jones.... biggrin

DAMN.

SPEAKING of "funky bass lines"..

THIS jam has got a REAL 'head-bopper'.
VERY funky,
& don't forget those sassy, sexy horns!

I like that little "spoken part", the dude with the deep voice :

"just take some tiiime
an' relax yo' mind.."

did I read that
KASHIF
was once in this band?????

is it TRUE that he actually had some
FUNK
in him before he totally crossed over with that..
watered-down "r&b"-pop hybrid????
I'll see you tonight..
in ALL MY DREAMS..

Outstanding righteous jam! The wah-wah rhythm guitar kills and I love when the organ really comes in during the instrumental breakdown of the long (album) version. Too cool!
