Thanks for postin.I'm a fan or familiar with alot of those bands listed in that Roctober article.& Ive been wanting hear that Pure Hell single for years!!Other hardcore/punk bands back in the day that had black members Urban Waste/Major Conflict & Fang

That listing is pretty thorough. The only person missing I can think of is Andy Anderson from The Cure, but he was only with them for a year or two (1983-1984), so he's an extremely small footnote. | |

Super nice thread!!! Growing up in the valley in So Cal, there were a few black punk rockers/new wavers in my Jr High school and even more in my high school. So I was fairly hip to that music scene. SynthiaRose said "I'm in love with blackguitaristz. Especially when he talks about Hendrix."
