Are there any orgers out there who are familiar with the B.R.C.? And if so, what happened with this organization? How is their west coast chapter in L.A. doing? Certainly there is little if any activity on the east coast(N.Y.). I already have both CD's they put out, but that was a long time ago. What are they doing today?

funny, i just checked it out 2day. i cant really get a feel for whats going on. i was actually trying 2 look into it 2 see if i could lend a hand. ive been interested in actully becoming a memeber (my band). but it seems like they need some orginization and exposure. im trying 2 find out about it and i cant find anything. let me know whats going on out in the east. i didnt even know they had cds out until 2day. keep in touch.

Some time ago the organization was very active, around the time "Living Colour" emerged. Many, many bands were a part of the BRC and one by one they left the BRC for lack of exposure.

I have been following them for over a year and they have a complete listing of Black Rock Acts on their site and the more I go, the less I'm able to contact because the URLs seem to be out of date. I was able to get in contact with Living Colour and found that they are currently in the studio right now and got to see their latest video. We went to the site about a month ago and it seemed dead. It's a shame.
