Well, it appears the album isn't going to be released in the USA. Amazon has it listed for availability as an import beginning 6.28.05. Good night, sweet Prince | 7 June 1958 - 21 April 2016

The new Jamiroquai CD 'Dynamite' was released in most of the world yesterday June 21.Unfortunately,it is not being released in the United States until the fall.I ordered an expensive Japanese import copy, but I probably won't receive it until at least another week or so.The first single is "Feels Just Like It Should",a raunchy funk/rock number. The second single is the brilliant "Seven Days In Sunny June",which is getting a great reception from fans.It is arguably the strongest track on the album. Many fans and some critics are comparing this album to their 1996 masterpiece 'Traveling Without Moving'.Btw,the Japanese import contains two bonus tracks: "Time Won't Wait" and "Feels So Good (Knee Deep Remix)".The UK version (pictured below) contains "Time Won't Wait",but the European and Australian versions do not feature that song.

I'm a bit confused with the tracks on my U.K. import.I put it in my WMA player on my PC & it listed the last track as a song called Beatbox when in reality it's actually Time Won't Wait.On one of the Jamiroquai forums Beatbox is described as either an instrumental or an outro but it's nowhere on my CD..

Its not something thats scaling new ground.. but its a decent jamiro album
If Seven Days wasnt on the album, i'd call it weak.

LOVE the new Jamiroquai album.
I consider it one of their best. It's the first non-skip long player I've bought in a long time. Standout tracks for me are 'Feels just like it should', 'Dynamite', 'Electric Mistress', 'Seven days in Sunny June', 'Tallulah' & 'Hot Tequila brown' but the whole CD is high quality. If you enjoy funk and disco and you are the least bit partial to Jamiroquai you will love this Album.

I am so pissed off right now.A few weeks ago,I pre-ordered the Japanese import from CD Universe. It was expensive, but I don't care.Today, they sent me an email saying that their supplier has run of that CD,and that it is now on "backorder".Aaaaarrrhhhhh!!! I was afraid somnething like this would happen,so a few days ago,I ordered the UK import from TowerRecords.com.It was actually pretty cheap for an import (total price was around $18).I figured they would probably get it a little sooner than CD Universe, but so far, they haven't gotten it either. So,the way it stands right now: I have two import copies on the way,but who knows when or if I will get them? I don't download music illegally, but in this case, who could blame me if I did? Thanks David, some Argentenian fans are claiming Beatbox is on their version & it seems Time Won't Wait is only available on the U.K. & Japan versions & not on the European version. I bet when the domestic U.S. version gets released, it'll be another version still . I don't understand the need for all these different versions other than collectabilty. It's all about the music , right?

Yeah,I don't understand why there are so many different versions for different countries. It would be so much easier if they just put all the songs (including "Beatbox" and "Time Won't Wait") on the same CD,for every country.I also don't see why the US release is being delayed. It makes absolutely no sense.

i got this album today.
pretty boring. so far.... to be fair, i'm playing it at low volume while i type, but nothing is particularly striking so far. oh wait..."Talullah" just started....this song actually sounds interesting....some horns....some actual sentiment here....maybe this album gets better on repeated listens? god, he's a terrible lyricist (Jay Kay)...he hasn't improved in that department....lenny kravitz territory, but i know that's not the point with jamiroquai or indeed kravitz i'm digggin it a little more now...."(don't) give hate a chance" is cool. . I haven't got the CD yet,but I downloaded the sound samples of each track.Based on what I can hear, these are my thoughts...
"Love Blind" and "Starchild" kick ass "(Don't) Give Hate A Chance" is another top-notch jam and don't tell me you don't like "Seven Days In Sunny June"

I printed out the lyrics to the songs, and I would have to agree...the lyrics are not this album's strong point.I think, with the last album ('A Funk Odyssey') Jay's songwriting was excellent,on songs like "Picture Of My Life" and "Corner Of The Earth".But on this album, some of the songwriting is sloppy.
