I haven't heard Discovery, but Rooty's alright. I kinda like Kish Kash out of all of B.J's albums though. To all my little Hulkamaniacs, say your prayers, take your vitamins and you will never go wrong.

I never really got Daft Punk. "One More Time" always sounded like lazy-ass house music to me. Loop and repeat, throw on a couple filters, done.
Rooty's one of the best albums of its decade.

I don't know which is better, But the Basement Jaxx have that video with the monkeys in that medical lab, the creepiest video I have ever seen.
Way creepier than any video by NIN, or Manson, or whomever. Angry, violent monkeys...watch it!

I love this topic! They are two of my favourite albums as well!!
BJ's Rooty is very 'Prince', with clever songs and videos (the Bollywood style of Romeo it's just fantastic). But how can you resist to 'Ohhh I don't know what to do/About this dream and you/I wish this dream comes trueeeee'. This is class! So, for me Discovery rules. As one door closes, another opens...

Rooty. Too much funk to be denied, and doesnt get boring in the middle like Discovery. Straight Jacket Funk Affair
Album plays and love for vinyl records.

I am far from being a "dance" music fan, although I loved "Good Luck" when it came out. However, I have to say I was very impressed with Basement Jaxx on TV at Glastonbury last night - Looked like one hell of a show
Much respect to any band that can translate such electronic music to a live, organic show.

Rooty's not really my bag, so I'll side with Discovery. Based on the strength of the singles.

Gotta go with 'Rooty' - that album is fantastic.
I saw them live a few years back and the show was SUPERB. Like being in a mini Rio festival.
