David Bowie - Space Oddity Survivor results... Of course we knew it was gonna end up like this, but with unanimous results (other than lilgish's sympathy vote), "Space Oddity" can be declared the winner. And I kinda hoped that "Wild Eyed Boy From Freecloud" would take 2nd, and it did. Voter turnout was a bit low on this album, I'm sure due to the fact that it's one of his lesser known and certainly lesser played releases. Let's hope more fans come out of the woodwork for bigger and better albums. I know you're out there people.
So anyway, here's the breakdown: 1. Space Oddity 2. Wild Eyed Boy From Freecloud 3. Janine 4. Cygnet Committee 5. Memory of a Free Festival 6. Unwashed and Somewhat Slightly Dazed 7. An Occasional Dream 8. Letter to Hermione 9. God Knows I'm Good Now onto the freaky, paranoid and rockin' The Man Who Sold The World. This one's pretty obscure too, but I know it has its admirers.

You're welcome. One bi-product of all the Bowie discussion that I love on here is that it seems like every month or so, someone decides to take the plunge and check out his work. That's exciting to me, cuz I remember what a vast and amazing eye-opener it was when I first got into his music.

What I wanted to say is that his music is very, very interesting (as is his life). I dig the glam and plastic soul stuff big time. Check out the following albums if u haven't already: The Man who sold the World Hunky Dory Aladdin Sane Ziggy Stardust YOung Americans Station to Station Bowie at the Beeb: (Captures some ofhis material from *1966-1972) Earthling: (If you like Techno/Industrial sounding stuff) The Best of Bowie (DVD) Peace "Old man's gotta be the old man.
