I bought the album yesterday as well, and it's better than 99 percent of what's on Top 40 radio. Unlike most of today's hits, Backstreet actually has melody, harmony and verses in their music. I can't sing along to 50 Cent, and I would feel damn ashamed of myself if I were saying the stuff that was coming of that man's mouth. If you want to hate on them, that's cool, but I'm damn happy a group like BSB exists.

I haven't heard the new album, but their past material basically was the worst music ever made, in my opinion. lol

Interesting. Who produces it then? Not max martin surely?

Get 1994's "face the music" by NKOTB, that album really was a sign of the times.

Of note to Prince fans -two tracks, "Crawling Back to You" and "Lose it All", feature none other than the fabulous Tommy Barbarella doing string arrangements and keyboards.

Did you see who's on drums on those tracks..hehehe

Yep, none other than MB!

Max has produced the majority of their songs over the years. (12 years! holy shit! Is it natural for a boyband to last this long? hmm Seriously, as much as I love them -they're defying some sort of natural laws of somethingorother.)

meow85, I bought Never Gone today, and absolutely love it. I've been their fan since they started, and they have never let me down. Lovely men. I like that all music doesn't have to be so "50cent'ish", I like melodies....hamonies...you know?

I was very pleased, and the DVD is too nice. Incomplete is a great choice for a single, and has had lots of airplay. My personal favourites right now are Lose It All, Song For The Unloved and Climbing The Walls. The latter especially. The albums covers even look very adult. It's fun growing up with the boys!

Oh, and nevermind the haters. You can never convince them, and I'd just not talk to them. Dissing someones favourite artist or group is not too cool, I'm happy my friends have more respect for my feelings. Sure, this is Prince site, so my excpections are not high, but I'm sad you got spitted on your face.

meow85, if you want to talk more about the album, or exchange stories or talk about Prince or anything, do orgnote me! Peace... cool

It is sad, though, that we have to turn to the Backstreet Boys for melody and harmony.
