maybe i feel this way cuz all these chix out here who cant sing are bein looked at as SO GREAT like Ashanti,when she 1st came out ppl were given her all this glory and she cant sing or dance she just looks pretty  I agree for the most part...Does anyone on this site remember when Aaliyah appeared on the Oscars to sing a song that was being nominated in the Best Song category? She sung live behind a full orchestara and she sounded better than average...She had a very light feathery voice that was suprisingly melodic...As I've said in the past, you can't paint all of these R&B singers with the same brush...Aaliyah was making some of the most freshest, cutting-edge R&B when she was working with Timbaland and Missy...I'm not even a big fan like that, but she has some songs that I dug... | |
