I listened to Hounds of Love first and then Never For Ever. Each of them was pretty rewarding upon the first couple listens. There were songs that took awhile to sink in, but I like them as a whole. With The Dreaming, I kept expecting it to kick in or for me to find something I could latch onto, and it just didnt' happen. One of the most off-putting musical experiences I've ever had. Honestly! I appreciate how complex and fucked up it is, and I'm usually all about that. I just couldn't believe how difficult and ugly it all sounded.

What's your take?

I've got everything but the first 2 albums and the remix/rarities/b-sides discs. What's your impression of each album? What do you like and not like? I need to get him hip to more of her stuff But yeah, you're right about the Medulla comparison. I guess the Dreaming is Kate's "Medulla", but I loved Medulla after the first listen too. Well, with the exception of a song or two.
