I totally agree, though I like BEYONCE too, something about AMERIE just gets me, (hmm, maybe its her Beauty,,Legs,, etc.) But I also like her singing, and she is improving as an artist. The reason alot of people may dislike her is that she sounds like a wanna-be Beyonce or Aaliyah, mainly because RB has no good producers anymore, they all sound the same. There are quite a few tracks on AMERIES Cd that give me hope though, Im hoping she leans the way MYA did on her last CD Moodring, embracing all genres of music and staying away from Producers that everyone else uses. Another reason I dig AMERIE is that she isnt full of herself, she hits me as being genuine, in the same way that MYA does,. She kind of just puts out the cd and goes around and supports it, does interviews, then she goes back to her own life, she doesnt live in the spotlight so she leaves you always wanting more. I got conned into buying "All I have" and man, what a piece of shit that was. I bought it blind on a glowing recommendation I read somewhere and I couldn't stand it. She does not have a great voice and the music was so-so.
