¤ MADONNA ¤ $9.5m to launch her own....

Madonna to launch new perfume
Posted: 04 June 2005
Madonna has signed a £5 million deal to launch her own range of perfume. She hopes to have the new fragrence on sale before Christmas around the time her new album hits the stores.

It will be advertised in magazines and on TV and Steven Klein is meant to have shot the press campaign.

Madonna has signed a $9.5m (7.8m euros) deal to launch her own perfume range to coincide with the release of her new album Defying Gravity.

The Material Girl is following in the footsteps of fellow pop stars Celine Dion, J.Lo and Britney Spears by releasing her own scent - originally titled Madonna.

Both the perfume and new album - the follow-up to 2003's American Life - have been carefully planned to simultaneously hit stores in November, ready for the Christmas shopping boom.

The Kabbalah devotee will be performing at London's star-studded Live 8 gig in Hyde Park on 2 July.

rumors are that Mads and her team are deep in the creating of a new look for her. Gone are the blacks, tans, whites, and greys. When her new album drops we can look for some colours that haven't been seen since the 80s

There is something sad to be said when Madonna jumps on the perfume bandwagon after Britney Spears. Talk about not being a trendsetter. lol

I don't know if you guys know this, or if it was even intentional, but...

the "My Name Is Prince" 2 track CD single smelled like wet paint and the Staxowax cassette single smelled like grape. lol

perfume and cologne to me are one in the same, no matter what people tell me.
And if this actually happens, which i really doubt as most madonna rumours never come true, i will buy it for the bottle.

I've read them in the bookstore, but i would never buy them.

I would like the Sex boook though, but it's a little expensive for me at this point in time. I would also like to get my hands on the tour programmes.

Yeah, that's understandable. The freaky thing is the grown men stampeding to buy the books she's written for 6-year-olds on the day of release. THEY NEED LIVES.
