Does Joseph Jackson (Michael's/Janet's Dad) Still Hates/Dislike Prince? Considering all of the Michael vs. Prince discussions over the years, has Joseph ever went public about his past/current opinions about Prince or his music/songs?
Considering the sucess that Janet had for years with Jam/Lewis (the same guys that had said that The Prince Sound is The MPLS Sound), has Joseph's opinions about Prince & his musical legecy change a little? Considering that Prince has grown in the teachings of the JWs way better than Michael ever did, has Joseph & Katherine (a fellow JW) accepted Prince as an friend or ally from a distance? | |

Prince is a JW.
Katherine Jackson is a JW. Rebbie Jackson is a JW. There must be some change of heart that the Jacksons (especially Joseph) have for Prince now. People change you know. | |

Honestly is Joe a devout JW? The man is still having affairs with young women promising he'll make the them the next big thing. Rebbie and Moms are devout.
All these JW's talk about how mike has been kicked out, meanwhile he can walk in any kingdom hall and sit his ass down. Firpo Carr was holding Press conferences defending Mike just a few months ago. Michael Jackson is still a JW folks. Joe didn't like Prince, I dunno if he was at Havenhurst when Prince stopped by a few times, I doubt it, can you imagine Prince and Joe conversing 
He told Jam and Lewis that he didn't want Janet to sound like Prince (like that could happen  ) Joe still thinks Prince is nothing compared to Mike, he might even think Prince joined the JW's to be like the Jackson’s.

As one of Jehovah's Witnesses I can tell you that no-one apart from those in Mj's Congregation would know if he had 'returned' or not. This is a private matter. The only way you could truly find out is if Michael announced it or if it became obvious by his speech or conduct (i.e he begins to behave in a relatively sane fashion or he appears on your doorstep on a Saturday morning).
As far as I'm aware through media interviews it is ONLY MJ's Mother who is one of Jehovah's Witnesses. His Father definitely was not previously, although he may be now. His earlier conduct would most certainly not be suitable for a Christian nor indicate a way of life for one. MJ taking up his earlier religious beliefs again in the midst of a trial may raise questions, but who are we to judge? There are no official public announcements made regarding Celebrities or anyone else returning to their Congregation. Word usually circulates after such an individual is spotted at a larger event such as an Assembly or a convention. With Prince, the mainstream media became aware after Prince knocked on a ladies door and she then reported this to the media. | |
