Early new editon is ok, but its ralphs voice I have trouble with. It sucks sometimes. I liked their "candy girl" albbum. But I love shit like "call ti what u want" over "popcorn love" for example.

And voices, I never knew u even liked new edition?

New edition gave props to NKOTB. But the members themselves called it a day really.

"tonight" is a weird track LOL. With the worst line ever.

"remember when we travelled 'round the world, we met alot of people, and girls"? confused

Does it have "if u go away"? Crap video, but awesome power ballad. Better then anything mariah could do. (same producer)

i love "step by step". the video too. The dancing is funny. Love the song. Pop don't get much happier. biggrin

I like NE's later stuff from "n.e heartbreak". But they were a different group of people then. But most of their early stuff just ? Sounds silly.

No doubt NKOTB did some weak ass shit.

U should all hear "stay with me baby". Donnie doing reggae. Awesome track.

"if u go away" really is one of my all time fav tunes. If mariah did it (and changed it to "if u go away boy", which woulda sounded weird) i would love it too.

But whole track is class. The sound, the verses, the chorus, the falcetto mixed with the normal voice, the middle 8, the ending. Its all there.

It does have "If U Go Away" as the last "Bonus Video".

It was very dull and featured thim in brown and white camera color with a very faded look on all their faces.

I just remember the song being very boring bored

Subtle is the right "word". I cant hear much but ?

They did copy the times moves in the video though. And like to hang around graveyards. neutral

"hangin' tough" is garbage though. What a concept for a song though. Maurice really kills me sometimes.

Just slow the tempo down a bit and you get "The Right Stuff". Same thing with Lil' Jon et al. on "Lovers And Friends". Speed it up and add a percussion clip and you have Mariah's "We Belong Together".

eek

Its all the makings of a early mariah or michael bolton song. But better. I like jordans voice. Not OTT. OTT vocals dont do it for me sometimes. (I.e "without u" by mariah is horrible).

Where is the moderator! What is this, a joke! I truly believe this is the first time in ORG history that some brave soul has written or spoke of such a group!

I give you props, but I do believe the state of Arizona still has the firing squad as an option for the death penalty. I recommend you go visit there and post this thread.

U know why they rock? Because they're songs are upbeat, fun and catchy. No messing here. So many of u like mariah, like she is so much deeper then NKOTB. Its all pop.

Also, maurice starr uses loads of chants in thier songs. Think about it!

"the right stuff"
"hangin' tough"
"call it what u want"
"games"
"cover girls"

All them "chant" songs were hits. I love chants. Like "the right stuff". That chant rules. Listen to the dmx and drums on that track. Heaven! "you got the right stuff, baby, girl u really turn me on". I dont need 50 cent telling me to take it "just a lil' bit". I want cherry topped shit. Don't pul out macho girl tactics on me.

As grayking said, not like early NE is the beatles or anything? I think the hate stems from them being huge and everywhere at one point. But now, thats all over. The songs still stand as being catchy, as most boynband stuff has. And at the end of the day, catchy feel good shit is what I want.
