The Best Song Ever Wasted On An Artust

Has to be Addictive by Truth Hurts, I mean the song is crazy nice, honestly I like the instrumental the best. What a hot song wasted on such a so-so talent. sad

I thought what a generic Dre beat for such a promising artist?

Beautiful - Christina, she did deliver it vocally, but it was too good for her and I feel some of it went over her head. I think Courtney Love would have done a better job.

you beat me to it. i think this is christina's best song to date, and i was really rooting for her the times she performed it on awards shows. still, all that quivery vocal melisma stuff ruins what's really a simple, beautifully honest song in my opinion. i don't know who would have been a better choice for that song. i love me some courtney, but i don't think she could have done it justice. maybe gwen? i dunno.

i was gonna say pink but i didn't wanna get my face blown off by the flames - i got headshots i gotta sit for, after all.

if pink could keep the melisma to a minimum, then yeah - she coulda rocked that song.

I think she could give it the grit and true soul that Linda Perry intended.

i really liked the album with 'my vietnam' on it - was that 'misunderstood'? she had some showcase on VH1 where she did a duet with steven tyler from aerosmith and she really held her ground vocally. i was impressed. nod

Yup, that's the one. I really hated her first album of Destiny's Child rejects. But with her 2nd, she just won me over. I like her attitude, love her voice and she's got a handful of really good songs. I'll stand by my fondness for that album to this day.
