And you're the total opposite of me. Lyrics are almost always the last thing to come when I'm writing a song. But I am a writer. I shape music around words. But I also sometimes write on beats or grooves in my head. Actually often. Thing is I write down the words and cannot put down the music, as I do not play instruments. It's a thing of being lucky enough to remember the music later on. Often I don't. Teach me Teach me how to teach myself Hold me Hold me I can’t hold myself And when I’m able Throw me back into the pool Throw me back into the pool Throw me back Into… Make me Make me turn around again Force me Force me to open up again And when I do Throw me back into the pool Throw me back into the pool Throw me back Into…

Ah. Well, not many people have heard these songs! So yeah, one of my friends (probably the only person I know that's heard these other than Ian) and I were trying desperately to get our hands on these Eurythmics b-sides. Part of us wanted to make Ian jealous and be like, "Look what we found." But we also really wanted to hear them, cuz we're big fans too. And when we finally found them on Napster back in the day and he heard "Monkey Monkey" for the first time he was like, "Good Lord, is that really Annie Lennox?"

My jaw just dropped when hearing that beat... them soundscapes. Amazing. What is also funny is that I sent an e-mail to the unknown owner of the DNA site (with all them amazing Eurythmics discographies which is the ONLY one I use for release info cuz they are so accurate) and I get a reaction back almost immediately from a Dutch girl! I love that site, so it was easy handing out compliments. They have SO many pictures....
