Well... Finally after 12 years they returned to the Netherlands...Duran Duran!!!

And i can tell you... I saw them several times...but this is the best Duran Duran I've ever seen in my life!!

Their new songs sound great live.... ofcourse the majority of the poeple want to hear their old stuff... but the new songs are very good (IMO) so palying that is not that boring for the non-fans...

Biggest surprise for me was that Simon LeBon has become a very good singer... In the early days he used to hot some wrong notes...but these days seem over!!

I can tell so much more...but there is only one conclusion... This band has so much fun on stage, and enbergy, and they really are a great live band..... If you have the change to see them....GO!!

I will go again tonight, coz i haven't had enough!

more importantly...how was roger??
what was the set list? if you can remember. they never seem to play my favourite song live. "Winter Marches On"

I just saw them on Saturday in Birmingham (their hometown), and it was a good show. I was estatic when they performed 'Taste the Summer.' They didn't perform 'White Lines' which was a big surprise, since that seemed like the staple song they performed on tour. My friend and I were bummed when 'Tiger Tiger' wasn't played. That's what I loved about the San Jose show was hearing that song and 'The Chauffer' back-to-back.

Simon messed up the 1st verse of 'A View To A Kill,' and had to follow the fans to find his place. A touching part was letting the fans sing most of 'Save A Prayer.' We sounded like a choir. Simon had a rough night. He fell on stage, but got up quickly and played it off.

Oh instead of 'White Lines' we got 'Faster Than Light'? I can't remember the title, and my friend and I were stumped, but I thought that was the title.

I would love to hear 'New Moon on Monday' and 'Lonely in Your Nightmare' live. I wish I could go to Paris to see them, but I must be heading back to SF. Hopefully they will add another Bay Area, or CA show before the end of the year.

Those pictures are perfect. It helps to have closer seating. I was on the other side of the stadium, and the look like blurry ants. The latter setlist is definitely an ideal one.

Ok, here's my defense, if it was a B side, I didn't collect alot of singles back then, couldn't afford to. I only had a couple of singles during the Notorious release. Now, I do have the box set, so I know I've played it a couple of times, but I just didn't know it at the show...ok, I'll stop while I can.
