Mariah Carey. I own them all, but keep them out of sight and only listen to them in private. When I purchased "Charmbracelet", I asked the cashier for a gift receipt so she wouldn't think it was for me.

I'm a bit ashamed, but not really, about my former obsession with Billy Squier. I was only 14 years old after all. Now I don't think his music holds up well so I can't even say I like it sadly enough.

Remember his early 80s hit "My Kinda Lover"? I love that song headbang

I'm not embarrassed about any of my albums, really. Each to his own, etc.. Whether I talk about them in public, though - that's another matter!

And I bet I'm not the only person who - when they're buying something a little dodgy - puts it in between the cooler items. lurking

Kajagoogoo

See there Vainandy, THIS is far worse than The Carpenters.

I love Kajagoogoo AND the Carpenters!! Anybody gottta problem wit dat? lol

Seriously though. Kajagoogoo's Nick Beggs, who plays Bass and Chapman stick, was one of the reasons [in addition to Mark Adams(Slave) and Mark King(Level 42)] that I picked up a Bass in the first place...

and Richard and Karen Carpenter recorded some Beautiful songs! Close to You, We've Only Just Begun, Rainy Days and Mondays, Superstar, etc...

Oh yeah. Other goodies were:

Lonely Is the Night
In The Dark
Emotions In Motion
Everybody Wants You
The Stroke

They can all be heard here.

They're pretty good songs, but the overall sound is so thin and tinny. I still like his voice, but the instrumentation is lacking.

Well, the main one I get shit for I guess would be Journey. I like some of their songs. nod
