This is an article that was posted on a music forum and is 100% certified BULLSHIT, ok people? Janet's next album will not be coming out until next year.

There are numerous errors here if you bother to look. For example, Janet is not signed to Def Jam, she is signed to EMI/Virgin. JD is also not going to announce their marriage at a press conference announcing the album (which has not been reported anywhere else? Don't think so!). Janet is also not going to hire P. Diddy after the disastrous mixes of Son Of A Gun. And finally, "My Baby (Part 2)"? Are ya'll out of your minds? lol

Jimmy & Terry better have the same influence as her last albums. After hearing about "My baby Pt.2" I was like..no disbelief
And yeah, Puff Daddy, yeah Puff dont produce anything on his own. It's usually Mario Winans or D. Dot Ange or sum1 like that.

After listening to Damita Jo at work, I'm really liking it more. I still skip over Truly and moist, but otherwise it's still a hot record which was badly thrown bricks across the board at.

jimmy jamm was interviewed saying that he wishes janet well with her new record. i really don't think the two of them will be involved with the new one.

They produceded all of Snoop's latest singles ("Beautiful", "Drop It's Like it's Hot", "Let's Get Blown" and "Signs" with Justin, who they worked with on most of his solo hits) and do a ton of tracks with rappers but they have worked with Britney on "I'm A Slave For You" and Kelis on "Milkshake" and "Caught out There" (there first notable track along with ODB's biggest hit "Got Your Money").

They've got some really minimal, beat driven stuff like the new Gwen song, Clipse "Grindin'" and "Light Your Ass On Fire".

They've got some 70's inspired funky stuff like the newest Snoop songs and some of the better Jay-Z shit.

They've got an almost alternative Beastie Boys inspired style on their N.E.R.D. albums.

Some of their shit sounds like Prince.

Most importantly, the great majority of the shit they come up with is HOT.

The Neptunes' material has a short shelf-life and largely falls in the category of "instant gratification." When you first hear a Neptunes track, the beat pulls you in and you think it's just the hottest s**t. After about 10 or 12 spins of that track, you start to get tired of it. You don't find any production jewel or a new way of listening to the song. It just gets played out.

Pretty much if it's by the Neptunes, I know it'll play out quickly. "Drop It Like It's Hot" is a perfect example. The song was bangin' when it came out, but once you play it 10, 11 times, you get sick of it. Same with "Hollaback Girl," "Let's Get Blown," etc.

Their production is the musical equivalent of Chinese Food. It feeds your craving, but you get hungry after 15 or 20 minutes.

The biggest tip off is with an artist like this, the single (at the very least the name of the first single) comes before a full out tracklisting. Sometimes a single comes out before the title! It's all speculation right now. Nothing to get worried about (calms self down).

Love the Chinesse food comment (unless you eat like a pig, in which case thinking of food would make you ill) and the Neptunes are just that although I could hear "Let's Get Blown" over and over.....that was hot!
