The Rolling Stones' most "Spinal Tap" moment I found this quote online, but I'm not sure what year it's from. Anyway, I thought this was hilarious. Ron Wood on the Rolling Stones' most "Spinal Tap" moment: "We were doing drugs in the dressing room [at a concert in the early '80s]. Suddenly the tour manager stuck his head around the door and said, 'The police are here!' We all panicked and threw our drugs in the toilet. Then Sting, Andy Summers and Stewart Copeland walked in." (from Guitar World magazine) "I saw a woman with major Hammer pants on the subway a few weeks ago and totally thought of you." - sextonseven

I accidentally forgot to get Stones tickets and now I'm sad
But that story is hilarious. Reminds me a little bit of "Footloose". Ren: Oh no! What about the Police? Willard: What about 'em? Ren: You ever heard them? Willard: No, but I seen them. Ren: Where, in concert? Willard: No, behind you.

(from Guitar World magazine) "Cocaine is a helluva drug." The Un-Tap like ending to the story is that Ronnie and the boys were probably able to replenish their lost resources in a matter of minutes. Once again it proves, as Samuel Clemens/Mark Twain said, "Truth is stranger than fiction...". tA Tribal Disorder http://www.soundclick.com...rmusic.htm "Ya see, we're not interested in what you know...but what you are willing to learn. My side, your side, and the truth. And no one is lying. Memories shared serve each one differently

He was on TV at the weekend doing a live-in-the-studio version of When The Levee Breaks (on Later With Jools Holland (BBC2), if you get that where you are) He sounds like he's in good voice at the moment, despite looking a bit old these days.
