Holy Shit! I just got 4th row tickets!!! And they are pretty close to the center, I think. Wow. I've never been that close to Tori. I can't believe it! I keep reading my order and looking at the seating chart thinking I'm not reading it right.

Check it out: Section B, Row 4, Seats 5, 6 and 7. Here is the seating chart: http://www.ticketmaster.c...2253/11782 It looks like seat 1 would be the aisle seat... so we are just 5 seats in from center!

I'm so used to these Tori presales being a total joke that I got screwed. When the Toronto presale happened, they offered me like Row X on the right hand side. The day of the public sale on ticketmaster, I got Row 10, so even better than the presale. Same thing with Detroit. So when I tried for the Chicago one last week and they offered me Row BBB, I thought it must be near the back of the main floor. Boy was I wrong. I tried again like a few seconds later and they gave me something in the 200 section. I thought I'd just wait 'til the public sale. I saw a more detailed seating chart while searching Ebay tonight and discovered that what I passed up were 2nd Row center! Rows AAA, BBB and CCC are the orchestra pit right in front of the stage. I had 'em and I fucking let 'em go!

i have to say the presales have been incredibly unorganized. there is no announcement as to which shows get a presale and which shows don't. as of last night - somewhere around midnight - there was listing for a cleveland presale. this morning - at 10:20 central time - i found out (via the dent) that the cleveland presale had indeed begun - at 10am eastern time! i don't understand how anyone is supposed to know about these presales BEFORE they happen!

its not being done through tori's website but instead through musictoday. i have an account at musictoday so you think they would email a mofo and let him know what's going on, lol!

eh, whatever, i'm so used to going through ebay for good seats these days that it just really doesn't matter. i barely even tried ticketmaster for the chicago show. in the end, i know i'm gonna buy through someone on ebay or a scalper.

Here is my guess. I think presales are only being anounced to people in the cities of the show. I got the email about my presale right when it started. Luckily, I am constantly checking my email anyway... I'm a little obsessive about it. So I get the email and it says presale starts NOW! I really like that you can see where your seats are. When I did a Duran Duran presale they couldn't tell me where the seats were and they ended up being really shitty: Terrace and directly on the side of the stage. I like that you can't get to a presale if you don't live in the city of the show. It gives those people a chance to buy tickets first.

they didn't send me an email for chicago either. its just very random. like, why would you only get an email just before it begins? the point of a presale, i would think, is to give folks a shot at getting tickets early. you've got to alert a brotha if he's to get a shot at anything!
