falloff

I should post the full transcript of the meeting between Howard Stern, MJ and his handlers.

Is there such thing? eek

Yeah, they wanted Howard to have MJ on his show and discuss how "innocent" he was. It never happened (for obvious reasons), but they did have one hilarious meeting.

It's a topic about Madonna and her music. Apparently to your topics in the past it's more important to make topics of Britney coming out of a cab or Janet's ass...

La Isla Bonita, the one and only song of Madonna that I like...

I just heard "Like a Prayer" on the radio today...that one doesn't get you?

No fuckin' shit. Some big exposé this is. Must have been a slow Maddy news day for you, huh?

My favorite exchange definitely had to be this one:

DM: The song seems to transmit a feel of freedom, brotherhood and thoughtlessness. What was the intention?

BG: I don’t think there was an intention, I think Madonna writes from the heart not from an intention.

DM: How far can your tongue reach up Madonna's ass?

BG: I usually can only get to the jejunum, but on good days I can reach the duodenum.

hey voices, ur mariah carey "we belong together" chart news was even more exciting I suppose? This thread is more interesting.

although i love madonna, i still dont think writing lyrics makes you that talented. i dont see the big deal when everyone says, madonna wrote all her songs (as in lyrics) because 1. anyone could write a few words or poems to fit in a song and 2. her lyrics arent that great anyway. i think someone is talented at songwriting if they make up the music, not just the lyrics.

I agree. Her lyrics are nothing out of the ordinary. So in other words, I could of written them. I thought she did write the music too? If thats not the case, then she ain't much better then janet jackson artistic wise.

I heard rene elizondo (whatever janets hubbie name was) wrote those solely written songs with her infact. I noticed "black cat" was solo janet. But now i dont beleive that. Not that that song is much to write about anyway.

But really, why people like madonna's lyrics is because they can relate to them. So its all good. But interesting lyrics they are not

I know, why take Janet or Madonna lyrics when you can listen to true profundity?

Like Bros. Or Donny Osmond.

Right? Right.

Ha. at least donny got a team in. As did janet wink Donny's 80's shit like "soldeir of love" is good pop that u wont like bacause its donny. Voices, u only like things that get good reviews. I seem to be the opposite.

As for Bros? U heard any? Infact, u dont need to. They wrote their shit and I wish they didn't. They are the worst writers ever.

CORRECTION:

Madonna has sole writing credit on the following songs:

-Lucky Star
-Burning Up
-I Know It
-Think Of Me
-Everybody
-Shoo-Bee-Doo
-Pretender

And cowriting credit on basically everything else.

Yeah I know we're cool. U remind me of my brother as I already said.

I really have to dig deep to find my shit though. Some of those bargin bins can be time consuming. I mean I often find myself saying "what, another milli vanilli cd?". that comes up alot.

But really. I wait for the day when midis, dmx's, synclaviers comeback. Damn house music (i like the early chicago stuff though)

Hence the term "cowriting credit" wink

Regardless, she certainly wrote more than "Lucky Star" on her own.

ummm no she hasnt, its been said even on madonna fan sites that 'luscky star' is the only song shes written all by herself, music and everything. she might of written the lyrics by herself on a lot of songs, but im talking music. lucky star is the only song shes ever written the music for by herself

Uhhhhh I don't care what gossip is spread on a fan board! She receives sole writing credit for the above songs, hence she's the SOLE WRITER (lyrics and music). Do you see? Check the fucking liner notes if you don't believe me. lol

Madonna is credited with full writing 5 songs from "Madonna".

Lucky Star
Burning Up
I Know It
Think Of Me
Everybody

Hell, Allmusic gives her credit for co-writing "Physical Attraction" and "Borderline", which she was never given credit for in the past. Could be there mistake, but as far as I know the first priting of the album gave her full credit for writing those five songs by herself. This is an album that changed dance pop muisc forever (hell, prehaps it created the genre). Credit where credit is due!
