Betty Wright - Tonight Is The Night (studio Version) Okay, now I know that the live version this song is great...but unfortunately its so great, that its the ONLY version that I can find anywhere. Its even on all of Betty Wright's "best of..." "and "greatest hits...." collections. Its also the only version that I can find on every file-sharing program that I have. Its the only version that can be found on other mix compilations. I cant even find the original album that it came off of in record stores.
Does anybody have the studio version? If so, can you post it up? Onion Juice appears courtesy of Streethop.com

You'll probably have to settle for this 2 CD comp...
...Danger High Voltage/This Time For Real Danger High Voltage has the studio version of Tonight Is the Night. Amazon has got it for about $14. tA Tribal Disorder http://www.soundclick.com...rmusic.htm "Ya see, we're not interested in what you know...but what you are willing to learn. C'mon y'all."

It's also on "The Best of TK Records" but I haven't seen it in stores for years. Andy is a four letter word.

That's probably a much better snag... ...if you want some very cool TK releases by other artists also. 1. Crank It up (Funk Town, Pt. 1) - Peter Brown 2. Why Can't We Live Together - Timmy Thomas 3. Rock Your Baby - George McCrae 4. Rockin' Chair - Gwen McCrae 5. Get Down Tonight - KC & the Sunshine Band 6. Shoorah! Shoorah! - Betty Wright 7. Party Down, Pt. 1 - Little Beaver 8. Get Off - Foxy 9. Do Ya Wanna Get Funky With Me - Peter Brown 10. Tonight Is the Night - Betty Wright 11. Keep the Home Fire Burnin' - Latimore 12. Ring My Bell - Anita Ward 13. I'm Your Boogie Man - KC & the Sunshine Band 14. Gimme Some (Pt. 1) - Jimmy "Bo" Horne 15. Dance With Me - Peter Brown 16. Rapp Payback (Where Iz Moses?) - James Brown 17. It's a Heartache - Ronnie Spector 18. Hot Number - Foxy It's a Heartache by Ronnie Spector is a bit odd and out of place but the rest is classic. Plus Amazon has got 'em new & used from $2.88! To be honest,I prefer the "live" version. The studio version is cool, but she really takes it to another level on the live version.

I tend to agree Vanglorious... this is protected by the red, the black, and the green. With a key... sissy!

I think that's why it's harder to find the studio version because the live version is so popular. Andy is a four letter word.

I know live version has the story and an extra verse not included in the original version but I cant stand the audience in the background. Onion Juice appears courtesy of Streethop.com
