Although I like the song there's a melancholy vibe to it that just depresses the hell out me...dunno why

Richard Butler is still a character--I met him in 95 and he still had the holier than thou atitude.

 You beat me to it. When I first heard this song in the 80's, the first thing I thought about was Bowie. The lead vocalist kind had a Bowie thing going with how he presented himself and his tone. It totally resembed Bowie. Another cut that I used to like by this group was Ghost in you which also had that Bowie vibe. | |
