Still not happy with those tracklists. I read somewhere that Dave wasn't either. I hope they get it right before releasing these.

i agree, the tracklists are a disappointment. they should do a 2nd full disc like The Cure and Pet Shop Boys have done. We'll see... maybe it will happen.
Charlie Cat likely wouldn't be on it anyway though, since it's not Eurythmics.

Probably doesn't fit on any of the compilations but the Annie Lennox/David Bowie live version of Under Pressure is one of the most electrifying live songs I've ever heard. The depth of their voices and the passion they display is perfect. It gives me spirit bumps every time.

oh yeah, i agree.. great version. Annie and Bowie together???!!!!! So classic. Although I think my favorite version of that song might be the live version Bowie did w/ Gail Ann Dorsey, the bass player in his touring band. I think it was released as a b-side on one of the Outside singles.

I really like it too. I remember being disappointed at the time, cuz I didn't feel like an album of covers would be enough to satisfy my Annie fix for the next several years. Much later I revisited that album and really fell in love with it. The B-Sides are awesome too.

Last night, I had a dream about Annie Lennow. I spotted her in a restaurant and I went over to say how much her music meant to me over the years.
Then she invited me for lunch!

Well, I include more than just the b-sides. Some of what I put on my expanded disc is: I'm Always Touched By Your Presence Dear Ladies of the Canyon Angel Mama Under Pressure (Live) Dream Angus There are more, but I'm not thinking of them right now. But get those. They're yummy.

Wait a minute. What is this? I'm drawing a blank. Annie recorded a solo version of the Eurythmics track "Angel" and it was included in the 2-CD tribute collection for Princess Diana after she passed away. Great collection, by the way. It also includes Peter Gabriel doing "In the Sun" by Joseph Arthur, a great track by Sinead O'Connor, and an acoustic version of "Don't Dream its Over" by Neil Finn.
