Hi Vinny...To answer your question about the Donna Summer mixtape, it's a tape I made years ago, but I still play it when I want to hear that beautiful voice of hers. It's a mix of cuts from "Live And More", "Bad Girls", and the one where's she's sitting on the half crescent moon. (Where's David Eye when you need him?-lol). These were my mom's records and the "rice krispies" are still in there too, but Donna's voice still sends shivers through me. I know she has a few records done, but is having a difficult time finding a label to put them out.

The "crescent moon" album is "Four Seasons Of Love", a great combo of soul and disco. I think the best of her "single" albums from that era ("Girls", "Live", "Radio" and "Once..." were all double albums and all excellent or really good).

As for the records she has done, David could fill you in on the detials but one is a soundtrack (and this album might not be done, actually) to a musical she's been working on called "Ordinary Girl" and the ohter is full length pop album titled "Angel". Some of the songs that were supposed to be included on there include the previously released "You're So Beautiful" (and BTW, I believe the best verison of this song was the one first heard leaked on the net and in clubs....the extended remixes on Donna compilations don't do it justice) and a song that was used on "Sex and The City" titled "I Got Your Love" (I heard a sample which inlcuded audio from the show and it was very repitious but not bad...).

Thanks Vinny. I don't mean to turn this into a Donna Summer thread but thanks for the info! Some folks think I'm crazy because I still listen to her stuff but good music is good music, right? (lol)
