Ive done a bit of research and spoken to some close sources and I have uncovered the reason why Ronnie DeVoe was not present on the VH1 Behind The Music special.

Ronnie DeVoe has run his very own real estate company since 2001 and was away on business while the show was being taped. He wanted to be there but was unable to get away from prior commitments.

There ya have it folks. That was the reason why Mr. DeVoe was not on the show with the rest of the fellas.

Well there were lots of other people that wanted 2 know the truth.

I thought that would be the major reason. Especially, given the fact the members have not secured their future financially.
