The Game has been charged for beating D.J. at WKYS

It is about time. Somebody needs to put a muzzle on this hood.
-----
Prosecutors in Prince George’s County, Maryland have formally charged The Game with assault and battery – three months after an incident in which the rapper and his 20-member entourage were accused of beating up WKYS D.J. Kwasi Jones.

Lawyers for Jones have also filed a civil action against The Game, 50 Cent and the record labels of Dr. Dre (Aftermath Entertainment) and Eminem (Shady Records), seeking $280 million in damages for the assault, intentional infliction of emotional distress and negligence, reports "Celebrity Justice."

During the January 21 incident, Jones says that The Game's manager thought the DJ was making fun of Game's hi-tech earpiece by making a "Star Trek" Vulcan sign. Jones says The Game and his boys suddenly ran up on him and commenced to throwin’ ‘bows.

Jones says he escaped into an office, but when he went back to get a cell phone, the beatdown resumed.

"Next you know I'm being choked from behind very, very hard, to a point where I'm blacking out," Jones said according to “Celebrity Justice.” "But just to be choked like that, you know it was intentional. I think it was to kill me."

The emotional distress claim also comes from the “Hate It or Love It” remix featuring Mary J. Blige. Renamed “MVP” to be included on Blige’s forthcoming album, the song features The Game saying, “I'm rap's MVP/ Don't make me remind y'all what happened in D.C."

"I'm still trying to get over the situation and the song doesn't help," said Jones, adding that he feared for his life during the attack.

Jones’ attorney Stephanie Moran told “CJ”: "The irony of this is in The Game's song, he says, 'Hate it or love it, the underdog's on top.' Well, he's really going to hate it when my client Mr. Jones ends this on top."

These guys are all a bunch of fucking assholes. Everyone of them. It sickens me that their records are selling so much and making them millionnaires. The state of hip/hop/rap music is disgusting and I have no interest in any of it. I can't remember the last time I actually watched a video on BET. It's all the same thugged out shit with porn stars shakin their asses. Give me real music anyday.

No class is putting it mildly. I don't know if this is true but the word is this guy is a registered sex-offender. I just can't believe that this guy got a record deal.

Well it is about time someone beat up one of our local djs here in D.C.....they totally suck and deserve it for playing the same crap daily. There, now that I got that off my chest, I can say that nobody deserves that kind of treatment. Even the crappy disc jockeys in D.C. but guess what? This will only increase sales of the Game's next album. $258 million is chump change to Aftermath.
