Bangles...WHat happened They seemed on top of the game with quite a few hits. So why did they fizz out after album no. 2?
My BF said that all the girlie pop bands at the time fizzed out similarly. Not sure myself. Christian Zombie Vampires

Didn't you hear about last year's album comeback?
OK. It's not the same anymore but it's a quite decent pop/rock album

Yes, Spaceboy, they're still around. NEW WAVE FOREVER: SLAVE TO THE WAVE FROM THE CRADLE TO THE GRAVE.

The Bangles split when they stopped agreeing on what the band's purpose was. Some wanted to be songwriters, others didn't mind recording songs written for the band by others. The best example is "Walk Like An Egyptian" which they had the least creative input on. Their drummer was replaced by a drum machine! That song is still a sore spot.
It's all in VH1's Behind The Music on The Bangles.

All that looking from side to side from the lovely Ms. Hoffs was too much.
It's sexy once but 354 times? They had really good harmonies and kewl Beatles influences in the early part of their career.

I totally understand the way they communicate, their humour, loooove the musical references. What other show has that? And two rambling women that you sumtimes want to kick, but mostly want to sit on the couch with sipping coffee.

And two rambling women that you sumtimes want to kick, but mostly want to sit on the couch with sipping coffee. So you think I should take a look at that show? It has a very bad schedule in Spain. Late, late night. I've just seen some snippets.

Late, late night. I've just seen some snippets. We have a GREAT station in Holland that has LOADS of great comedies from 4pm to 8pm. All the reruns of Rosanne, Friends, Ally McBeal, Gilmore Girls, Will & Grace, just to name a few... Don't you have a video recorder?

Don't you have a video recorder? Sure. I have one of those hard disk recorders but I find it hard to watch TV shows anymore. I rather watch films on satellite. The only ones I watch now are Scrubs and Alias (that now is in between seasons)

If your English is good enough to understand English being spoken REAL fast (too fast for subtitling) and you like ENglish wordgames and love black humour, The Gilmore Girls is your thing.

Thanks for the tip.
I'll try to watch it but: 1) No, my English is quite poor I'm afraid 2) I think that show is only dubbed in Spanish. Not Original Version option
