I just found out about torrent yesterday. WHat is it? I use Kazaa Lite for P2P.

One thing that's annoying tho' is that when
people are uploading from you , your download
speed drops down to almost 0 , and there's no way
to stop the upload other than by manually stopping
it every time it comes up again

DC++ is not very Mac-friendly. There are only a few programs developed for Mac, and the hubs will reject or even ban you if you try to log on with most of them. There's some technical reason behind it (which I'm suuuuure is the same problem the NPGMC has)
