Beyond the cool but average single "Floetic" I hadn't heard anything by them (so I thought) yet folks kept floating their name. I put them in the Van Hunt category & moved on

Months ago I'm getting a massage & on the radio (which I hardly ever listen to) comes a song called "Say Yes". Couldn't tell if it was a man or a woman, really dug it, had no fucking clue who made it. Back to procrastinating...

So I finally get a frickin' IPod this week, I'm on ITunes pulling songs & I FINALLY do a search for "Say Yes" - Floetry's album pops up. I'm like WOW, I gotta check these broads out!

I'd heard "Getting Late" before & was somewhat intrigued but not moved enough to want it, plus I thought it was Deborah Cox

Anyway, I'm LATE... as usual...

Alright, who else digs them? I'm only 3 years late joining the discussion



*side note on Van Hunt: I listened to his samples again & purchased ONE single: Anything (To Get Your Attention) is cool, but that's the only one!

i dont know why i cant get into them...just something about them that turns me off...it could be the annoying facial expressions they make in videos....

im realizing this is a huge part of my beef with a lot of performers...i was watching the new ashitty video i think....no wait, it was tweet....was she the one that won the aretha franklin soul train award these year? and somebody told her that she looked great when she tilted her head down, looked up and smiled cause she kept doing it through out the entire freaken video.....now thats all i think of when i think of her..... ughhh!!!!

anyrate, i think floetry wobble their head to much in their videos and it turned me off on them..
