Best song of 2005 so far My pick is Beck's "Missing" from Guero.
I haven't heard a more artistic, yearning, HUMAN song like this in a loooong time...probably the best song I've heard in the past two years. As for you?

Hmmmmm, still thinking.....and thinking some more.....unfortunately it's not the Stevie Wonder song. I was actually feeling Mario's song - Let Me Love U - 4 a long fucking time.
I guess that's the early winner thus far? Ordinary People is my favorite slow jam thus far. Let's Get Blown and Hate it or Love it are my favorite hip hop tracks so far. Emancipation of Mimi (Mariah) is by far this year best/most complete CD at this date and time. Well, there U have it! I covered the whole gammit.

I agree, well not necessarily the best song in two years part but it is my favorite track from Guero. My #2 song, #1 video: 1 Thing by Amerie. ohhh, that video

I like that song a lot too, but it's not the best. I'm just gonna wait until the year is over and then decide. NEW WAVE FOREVER: SLAVE TO THE WAVE FROM THE CRADLE TO THE GRAVE.

Finally heard that. That's a damn fine track, must admit. Better certainly than any Mimi/Beyonce/Jlo tracks this year. And why no love for "Crap Hands/Clap Hands" among all these Beckish folks? [Edited 4/16/05 20:43pm]
