Wrote a smallish review for the BBC Collective
Roisin Murphy has teamed up with known producer/remixer Matthew Herbert to create three limited edition EP's of which two have been released already. Together with the third they will be compiled into her first solo release after becoming famous with Moloko. So do not expect a complete review, only two-thirds of the album has been released via these EP’s. Eight songs in total now rock my world. The second of May will be the release date for the final four songs that will make up the entire album. Moloko fans will have no problems tapping into the vein of the first bunch of songs. They are as wonderfully wacky as any other Moloko album, just more danceable, which seems Herbert’s input. I am also curious if he had hand in the minimalist approach to some songs, like Love In The Making. Best songs to me personally are Love In The Making and Night Of The Dancing Flames, but I cannot help playing every song over and over again. I am afraid I have a new addiction… Roisin Murphy will be touring Europe this spring and summer. Don’t miss out. |

Call me impatient but I don't know if I can wait until June. I heard that's when it's coming out now.
